RIGA ADDITION! WEEK 11 BAAAAABY!

Heeello everyone, so glad to send my email. I love sharing my miracles and blessings with you 

    First of all, I start loving Riga everyday more and more. I'm great that I'm here. I have a such a great time here. Me and my companion got so many lessons done, we coming in clutch just straight up clutch. Here's some numbers of people that we thought :

   Members: 1

   l.a. Members: 1

   Not Members: 6 

Not that many , but we working on it. We also have a bunch of Facebook work tho, but yeah. 

  

   As you already know from my  last emails about that lady from Belarus , Lilia she is so wonderful, we got another lesson with her thos week ( actually 2) .We teach her restoration of the Gospel and tell her about B.O.M. She loved the message. I invited her to read it this amazing book and she said , absolutely. I ask her to prey , and ask the Lord if everything that we said is true and the Joseph Smith is a prophet, without any concern she told us that she believe what we are saying. I agin invite her to read the B.O.M as she will have a question about B.O.M, ask Lord if this book is true , and this is true word of God. And she said she will do it. Very happy to hear this.

I'm very happy to be here , Lord has provide for me everything, and send me a lot blessings trough my life.One of them it's serving a mission. I'm so great to have this aprotunity.

  Lord have blessed me and my companion sending us a people in our way, people who wants to get closer to Him , who wants to feel his love, people who want Him to bless their families and close ones with joy,  happiness,  and love. I will personally pray for those people and ask Lord to bless them.

I know that Lord knows me and loves me and I do love Him with all my heart.I know as I follow my purpose, read and ponder about B.O.M , prey and repent daily, I will get Lord's support in all I do. I will reseve blessings that can help me be 1% better today then yesterday and one step closer to the Lord. And I say that ,and testify with my everything, in the name of Jesus Christ , Amen.

Доброго времени суток всем вам. Меня зовут Старейшина Вихар. Я миссионер Церкви Иисуса Христа Святых Последних Дней. Я родился в Украине и жил там все свое детство. Когда мне было 17 лет, я переехал в США и прожил там несколько лет, прежде чем приехать в Ригу.

Мне нравится всегда находится в окружении людей и находить новых друзей Я очень общительный. Люблю танцевать и играть в разные виды спорта. Всегда получаю удовольствие от общения и помощи другим людям.

Господь любит вас и знает вас лучше чем вы знаете себя сами. Будьте четны и преданными Ему. Следуйте за ним.Молитесь,  и просите его помочь вам справиться с трудностями. Молитва поможет вам стать ближе к Нему. Молитесь и  размышляйте и обещаю вам, что вы получите ответы на ваши вопросы.

Good day to all of you. My name is Elder Vehar. I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was born in Ukraine and lived there all my childhood. When I was 17 years old, I moved to the USA and lived there for several years before coming to Riga.

I love always being surrounded by people and finding new friends  I'm very sociable. I love dancing and playing different sports. I always enjoy communication and helping other people.

God loves you and knows you better than you know yourself. Be even and faithful to Him. Follow him. Pray and ask him to help you cope with difficulties. Prayer will help you become closer to Him. Pray and reflect and promise you that you will receive answers to your questions.

 Today we make a short one , sorry:(. But it will be as spiritual as others. Don't worry I got you! Everything you need. I know you have been want it to hear from me, you couldn't wait till this day. Hey don't worry I'm here. I got you 

   Oh man , mission have been going crazy great. I love every minute form it, serving the mission is literally the best. Me and my companion got so much done already. We have been grinding that Area Book. We got so many lessons done, but we still going because there is a lot to do 

  I want to share one of my favorite quotes from Elder Gong this General Conference , where he said " Trust the Lord .Lord knows us , He us better than we know ourselves. " This showing us that we can trust the lord in everything. When I have a concern about something and gave a doubts about my self, Lord know that I can do it, because He knows me. When I tired and tell my self I can't do it , Lord telling me you You can, of you need Help I got you. Let's all imagine if Lord will always tell you,  when it's hard, when you need help , will one simple answer from Him " I got you". Let me share a story  with you: 

    When I lost my father and my mom wasn't be able to take care of all of my siblings. He told me " I got you". I got send to Orphanage, when I be able to be with my family and have a great support by teachers and other workers. Through all my years in Orphanage He help me to be better everyday. After 11 years of my life living at Orphanage He always showed me a love and support me. There is time came when I would have to find a new family and moved to America. I didn't even know that I need a new family,  but Lord knows me , even better than I do. He told me " I got you "  He blessed me. It showed that Lord know us and support us. 

  Always trust the Lord , even if you don't know what to do and have a doubts,  Always Always trust Him and in Him. Pray unto Him. He loves you and He always blesses you. And I testify that to you , humbly in the name of Jesus Christ.

WEEK 9 MY DUDES!!!

 Ох , отлично! Меня перевели в Ригу и сейчас я здесь! Очень рад служить Господу. Я буду делать все,  что бы стать ближе к нему и быть как он.

   Soooo, I got transferred to Riga. Logit. I love it so far. It's so beautiful here and so many great people who need the Gospel so that is why I'm here. Also, got a new companion, his name is Elder Gonzalez. Love that man already. He is my trainer. We got so much stuff done with him already,  that is logit nice: we only have been here for like 2-3 days. Dang , we going in clutch.

Here is a list of things that we done already: 

   • called so many people and scheduled appointments for meetings

   • got a first lesson done today.

   • translated to our mission President and his wife and some other members who doesn't speak no Russian, no Latvian.

   • walk so many miles

Sounds like nothing but I tell you what, it's pretty good work to be honest. Logit 

About that first lesson that we thought today. Maaaan , it was good. So the lady that we called , her name is Lilia. She is from Belarus.( Catlic). Her testimony is very good , but she kind of continues about ,why is the spirit not there? But I explained her everything that Spirit want me to share with her. She told me a cool story, that I kinda like.   "On the Christmas week I drank a coffee,  and I finished I drop my cup. When I picked it up I got shocked... in the bottom of the cup, from coffee residues, I saw a Jesus picture. And why do think I saw Jesus on the bottom of my cup? I saved that cup. I had it for 6 month on my dresser. But why I saw a Jesus there?" I told her that Jesus loves you ,and He care about you. He want you to know that He is here , and He is real. He knows you. She also struggled with questions, like " How I can be closer to Him ? What can I do to be closer? I told her that trough prayers she can be closer and explaind that , when you pray , ask Him by His name,  and talk to Him, ask Him for forgiveness,  ask for blessings,  ask for help, and I promise you He will , because He loves you. I ask her " How often do read a Bible ?" She told that she don't have that much time to read , but I read a little bit. Well. I challenged her to read more , start with 4 -5 verses per day. I promised her that as she read she will reseve her answers. Pretty cool. I loved every minute of it. We will contact her in couple days and talk about what she read. Pretty cool huh.

As you read, prey and ponder in your hearts you will reseve the right answers but next part it's to act upon. I know that God is our Heavenly Father. I know that Jesus is my savior. A testify this to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

WEEK 8 MY DUDES!!!

 Tere kõigile, loodan, et teil läheb suurepäraselt! ( Estonia ) Es un mans pavadonis vecākais Fosons esam satraukti, ka esam šeit, Daugavpilī ( Latvian ) Мы былі вельмі актыўнымі ў пошуках новых людзей, і нам удалося. ( Belarusian ) Tačiau vis tiek turime daugiau dirbti, kad galėtume sulaukti didelės sėkmės.( Lithuanian ) Мы надеемся только на самое лучшее и всегда стараемся следовать всем нормам и правилам( Russian ) .

Our miracles that we invited our not member friend to watch a conference and HE DID!!!Thas is so great. And another not member ask us for the link for general conference. It got us very exited! 

We finally got in the bus and got conversations going. Then like as always we meeting new people. We met new young people they're pretty cool, hopefully we be able to see them at English club. We still trying to figure out what is in Daugavpils people's hearts, that is why we will get on the bus tomorrow again and start talking to people. We got so close to teaching a lesson to not member , but it got a little complicated , but we still hoping that we will get someone to teach.

Daugavpils is big city with a small population, but what's make this city special form all other cities in our mission- is cultur and people( Russian community) Hard to tech them but Lord new that me and my companion will fit great in this city. People dose not want to except anything,  but we not giving up , because we know that trough the hard work and faith Holy Ghost will lead us to the people and he will help us in everything that we do.

We have explored this magical city and came to conclusion that we will do everything that in our hands to do great things and inviting people. 

Lord love me and my companion that is why he giving us power to walk miles everyday,  power to open our mouth and speak,  power look people in the eyes and smile. Lord providing everything for us. We will do everything us he will told us, we will go wherever he wants us to. We love Him and following Him. And I share that will you , and testify with my every that Lord is our savior and redeemer, God is our Father in the name of Jesus Christ , Amen
