 Lord have given me everything and through all my life I felt like gifts is still coming. Even when I didn't want to fallow him, being away from him he still gave those blessings and those gifts...He gave me a new family without taking a old one, he gave a new friends and kept my old ones, he gave me good health, many talents. He gave me light when it was dark. He gave me water when I was thirsty...Everything he gave to me even his firstborn son, his own son for a death just because he loves me. He loves me I know that and I feel that when I pray to him. Now I here to serve him because I love him...

Pray, pray to him because he wants to hear you, he wants to help you because he loves you and his love what you need. So pray to him, love him, fallow him and you shall receive everything!

Home MTC, August 9-26, 2021

We turned our basement into a home MTC for Elders Morris and Vehar. Elder Morris and Elder Vehar are going to be mission companions as they complete their home MTC together. They will live with us during Elder Vehar's first week and with the Morrises the second week. Because AJ speaks fluent Russian, he doesn't have to do nine weeks of MTC.

These Elders wasted no time getting to work. They went to Scott Thomas's home to practice their teaching skills a few times. They also helped teach a friend who is learning about the Gospel as well. Perks of the home MTC includes being able to attend the temple with family. We went and did initiatories for Mom's birthday at the Denver temple. 

"Elder" Josh Morris returned home and we got these missionaries to the temple one more time together before departing. 

 

Officially "Elder Vehar"

 AJ was set apart as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by President Chad Larsen. We invited the Morrises to come and be with our family to support AJ, as they have a special place in his heart. Jake baptized AJ on February 22, 2020. Jake (Elder Morris) was able to stand in with President Larsen, Dad, and Bishop Morris as AJ was set apart. It was a beautiful evening listening to the testimonies of these two new missionaries and our stake president and to hear so many wonderful words spoken to AJ.
